Journal History
International Journal of Innovation in Teaching and Learning Technology (IJITLT) was established as an international scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation at the intersection of teaching, learning, pedagogy, and educational technology. The journal was founded in response to the growing importance of digital transformation and technological innovation in education, as well as the increasing need for a dedicated scholarly platform to disseminate rigorous research on technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
From its establishment, IJITLT has been designed as an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal, providing researchers, academics, educators, instructional designers, technology developers, policymakers, and educational practitioners with opportunities to share original research, innovative practices, theoretical perspectives, and evidence-based approaches to the use of technology in education.
The journal was established and is published by CV Kreasi Numeratif, Indonesia, with a vision of developing an internationally oriented publication that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and scholarly exchange. Its editorial management is supported by an international editorial board with expertise across educational technology, pedagogy, instructional design, digital learning, artificial intelligence in education, learning analytics, and related fields.
As educational technologies continue to evolve, IJITLT has expanded its scope to address emerging developments and challenges, including artificial intelligence, generative AI, learning analytics, adaptive learning, immersive technologies, digital assessment, online and blended learning, educational platforms, digital literacy, inclusive technology, digital transformation, and responsible technology use. The journal places particular emphasis on research that connects technological innovation with meaningful pedagogical practice and measurable educational impact.
The journal maintains a commitment to academic quality, research integrity, methodological rigor, and responsible innovation. Manuscripts are subjected to editorial screening, plagiarism checking, ethical evaluation, and double-blind peer review before publication. Through these processes, IJITLT seeks to ensure that published contributions provide credible, original, and meaningful advances to the field.
IJITLT is published quarterly, with four issues annually in January, April, July, and October. Through continuous development of its editorial standards, international scholarly network, and publication practices, the journal aims to become a trusted platform for global research and discussion on innovation in teaching, learning, and educational technology.
The journal continues to evolve alongside the rapidly changing educational technology landscape, welcoming high-quality contributions that critically examine how technology can create more effective, accessible, inclusive, ethical, and future-oriented learning environments.
