Article Processing Charge

International Journal of Innovation in Teaching and Learning Technology is an Open Access scholarly journal committed to making published research freely accessible to readers worldwide. To support the editorial and publishing operations of the journal, including editorial management, peer review, DOI registration, digital preservation, online hosting, archiving, and journal maintenance, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC).

The APC policy is applied transparently and does not influence the editorial or peer review process.

Submission Fee

No submission fee is charged.

Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript to International Journal of Innovation in Teaching and Learning Technology.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

An Article Processing Charge of USD 250 is applicable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

The APC covers the publishing services associated with the accepted article, including:

  • editorial and publication management;

  • peer review administration;

  • DOI registration;

  • online publication and hosting;

  • digital preservation and long-term archiving; and

  • maintenance of the journal's publishing infrastructure.

Payment of the APC is not a condition for acceptance. Editorial decisions are made independently of an author's ability or willingness to pay publication fees.

No Fee for Rejected Manuscripts

No publication fee or APC is charged for manuscripts that are rejected during editorial screening or the peer review process.

Authors will only be invoiced after receiving an official acceptance decision from the Editorial Office.

Waivers and Discounts

The journal recognizes that publication fees may present financial challenges for authors from certain economic contexts. Full or partial APC waivers or discounts may be considered for authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries and for authors experiencing exceptional financial circumstances.

Requests for a waiver or discount should be submitted to the Editorial Office with a brief explanation of the circumstances. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will not influence the editorial or peer review decision.

Authors are encouraged to request a waiver before or during the submission process where possible.

Transparency and Editorial Independence

The payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript. All manuscripts must meet the journal's academic, methodological, ethical, and editorial standards and undergo the applicable peer review process.
